Monthly: 

1) Check that the Emergency Light and 'Keluar' (Exit) Sign fitting is
    functioning properly 

         a) visual check that the LED indicator that indicates charging is
             functioning properly i.e. it is lighted.

         b) by pushing the 'Test Switch' button on the fitting to simulate
             a power failure and the emergency lamp should light up. 

2) Replace any defective lamps if applicable. 

Half-Yearly:

1) Conduct the monthly procedure as above. Upon completing the
    monthly procedure, conduct the following procedures.

2) Operate the Emergency Light and 'Keluar' (Exit) Sign fitting from the
    battery supply for the rated emergency duration by switching off the
    supply to the Emergency Light and 'Keluar' (Exit) Sign fitting. 
   (Note: This process is accurate provided there has not been any
    power failure the last two days) 

2) Replace Battery Pack of the same Voltage and Ampere-Hour (AH)
    rating for those units that does not sustained the rated
    emergency duration.

3) Clean all light emitting and reflective surface.
